How to pick a real estate agent

When the real estate market was on fire, any agent could post a sign, price it high and wait for the market to catch up. No so much in slow market. It is crucially important that you pick an agent that will be dedicated to your needs. Ask the hard questions.

How long have you been in real estate? Do you work full time or do you have another job. How many houses did you sell last year? Do you work with an assistant? Where can I expect to see my home advertised. Do you have recommendations from past clients. Question their negotiating skills.   In the economic times that we are currently experiencing is crucially important that you hire a seasoned professional. We have a track record in real estate that we are very proud of and have been selling real estate full time since 1987. We would very much appreciate your consideration.
